Jenn entered the mental health field after a long-simmering call to help people heal through relational, spiritual, and personal story work. She has walked through career reinvention, raising and launching adult children, and deep personal growth-bringing insight, humility, and a big-picture perspective to the therapy room.
Jenn is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who works with teenagers ages 15+ as well as adults. Her clinical approach includes, but is not limited to Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and extensive training in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
Jenn belives healing takes root when you are brave enough to engage and explore your story of pain and harm. When you take this courageous step, you can heal wounded parts of yourself that have been keeping you stuck and you can experience a new life of freedom. She believes true transformation starts in the heart and reaches every part of you. She utilizes an integrative approach incorporating the latest neuroscience into emotionally focused, client centered therapy. Her professional interests include relational connection, attachment patterns (styles of relating) in families of origin, and helping clients rewire effects of previous traumas by understanding and engaging their own story. This rewiring can lead you back towards your unique design, and to experiencing the life you were created to live!
She has been married for 30 years and has two adult children. Outside the office, she loves taking in a beautiful mountain view or traveling to explore new places!

“With compassion and grace, I will walk alongside you in the pursuit of betterment.”- Suzanne
Supporting people through their individual and relational journeys is at the heart of what Suzanne is called to do. Unfortunately, all have suffered at some point in life and even have faced insurmountable challenges. Often the individuals and couples Suzanne works with have experienced significant challenges and suffering due to a sexual betrayal in their relationship. She believes this type of trauma requires a specific treatment response. Suzanne provides a structured process in the midst of the chaos betrayal can bring. She offers a formal disclosure process and guides couples or individuals through a healing journey to forgiveness and trust.
Suzanne also works with couples that are experiencing sexual intimacy issues. She aims to provide a safe and respectful environment so that both partners can feel comfortable as they dialogue about their concerns with sexual intimacy. Intimacy concerns may be present throughout the relationship, or due to life changes, have recently occurred. Sexual intimacy issues for couples may include differing perspectives of frequency or pleasure, or what intimacy can look like when a partner is experiencing functional issues or body changes (i.e. erectile dysfunction or menopause).
To support Suzanne in her work she pulls from her past experiences and other roles in her life as well as from her educational background. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Suzanne received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at the University of Tennessee. She then completed her masters from Salisbury University and completed her clinical work in Germany with service members through work at a behavioral health clinic and the Red Cross. After returning to the U.S. she went back to graduate school at Richmont Graduate University to be a Certified Sex Therapist. During this time she also was trained in Biblical counseling.
Although Suzanne’s work is a large part of her life, the most important part is her family and raising her 3 girls. Suzanne is from Knoxville and is actively involved in her local church and enjoys being a part of the Knoxville community.
Suzanne is also a licensed telehealth clinician in Florida.

Work: (865)-300-7778
Seeking to better recognize God’s presence, promptings, and provision in her life, Anne enrolled in the Renovaré Institute for Christian Spiritual Formation in 2022—a two-year ecumenical program emphasizing study, small group interaction, spiritual practices, and academic writing. Anne’s culminating project—Soul Care Circles—awakened her to the gift of creating safe, confidential spaces where participants can watch for glimpses of God’s grace in the midst of life’s profoundest joys and deepest disappointments. After earning Renovaré’s Certificate in Spiritual Formation in 2024, Anne began working towards Companioning Center’s two-year Spiritual Direction Certificate, which she is set to complete in May, 2026.
Anne also holds a B.A. and M.A. in English from Baylor University. In addition to teaching English and First Year Seminar at Pellissippi State Community College for over fifteen years, she has written for InterVarsity’s The Well, Red Tent Living, and The Companioning Center. A daughter, sister, wife, and mother to two adult children, she enjoys family time, writing, music, reading, exercise, table games, the outdoors, Henry the havanese, and a good cup of coffee. Her greatest delight is authentic conversations that welcome both hard questions and celebrations of God’s abiding presence–even amid unsettling circumstances.
